Microblading is a manual eyebrow pigmentation procedure for enhancement of the eyebrows. It is performed by a trained and certified Master Esthetician, who makes thin superficial incisions in the skin, with subsequent embedding of pigment evenly into the incision lines.
At Atlantic Skin Care, all treatments are performed under the supervision of Dermatologists.
How many treatments will I need?
Two sessions, one month apart, are required for initial treatment for most individuals.
A single touch-up may be required once per year. The overall duration is approximately three years.
What about pain and downtime?
You will feel slight pressure and a "scratchy" sensation while the treatment is being done.
For the next 24 hours, the area will be red and tender. During the second week some flaking of skin may occur in the treated area. While healing times vary among individuals, most clients heal completely within four weeks.
How can I determine if Microblading is right for me?
An initial consultation is required, at which time you will determine if you are a suitable candidate. Your individualized treatment, including cost, will be discussed at that time. After that, the decision is up to you!
