Microblading

What is Microblading?

Microblading is a manual eyebrow pigmentation procedure for enhancement of the eyebrows. It is performed by a trained and certified Master Esthetician, who draws a thin superficial incision into the skin, with subsequent embedding of pigment evenly into the incision lines. At Atlantic Skin Care, all treatments are performed under the supervision of Dermatologists.

How many treatments will I need?

Two sessions, one month apart, are required for initial treatment for most individuals. The first session lasts approximately two hours, and the second session one hour. A single touch-up may be required once per year. The overall duration is approximately three years.

What about pain and downtime?

You will feel slight pressure and a "scratchy" sensation while the treatment is being done. For the next 24 hours, the area will be red and tender. You will be provided with a healing balm to apply 3-4 times per day starting on Day 2. During the second week some flaking of skin may occur in the treated area. While healing times vary among individuals, most clients heal completely within four weeks.

What is the cost of Microblading?

Prices for the initial treatment (two sessions) range from $350 to $600+HST, depending on the degree of eyebrow enhancement desired.

How can I determine if Microblading is right for me?

An initial consultation is required, at which time you will determine if you are a suitable candidate, and your individualized treatment, including cost, will be discussed at that time. After that, the decision is up to you!
